Chapter 51 a): Getting started in Osaka
Recap: We went from Kyushu to Hiroshima where I had a huge fight with Mio after which I separated myself from my travel companions ONCE AND FOR ALL. I felt really relieved the next day and explored the city on my own.

There was still the problem of my suitcase with all my belongings being sent to Mio's new adress in Osaka. But I was so fed up I didn't even care. Let's have Ali deal with that.
Now, according to our original plan we were going to proceed to Osaka with a night bus. Ali sent me some information as to when and where we were going to board. So I took off at our hotel shortly after 21:00 I think. I insisted on going by foot because I feel more secure that way, plus I didn't want to spend any more money. But it was such a toil to get all my luggage to the main station. At least 2km with some 10kg on my back? After that I also had to wait an hour or so until Ali gave me a signal. I felt like such a hobo.

The busride ended up being a little more uncomfortable than it should have been due to the tense situation with all the shunning and stuff. But eventually we all fell asleep.
Around 6am the bus arrived in Osaka. Everybody packed their things, which took me a while longer because I spilled a drink on myself and the seat at the beginning of the ride which is like the ultimate taboo. I was trying to clean it off as good as possible (there were no stains visible after all so I guess I was lucky). But when I finally stepped out of the bus, suddenly I was all alone! Ali and Mio had secretly snuck away while I was still busy! WHAAAATTT not even a little "goodbye" or "let's talk about your suitcase later"?? Fuck you guys!
Also the bus drove off and there was not a single person in sight. Please imagine this as one of those tumbleweed scenes. But there was no time to lose heart! I had to get down to BUSINESS!! At this moment I was homeless indeed, so I drove to Shin-Osaka where I knew there was a big modern youth hostel close to the station. Since this was going to be my base of sorts, I decided to lock away my stupid bags in the station for now. Problem was just that the signposted lockers were too small! After one long quest I finally found some information desk which showed me to the main entrance where they had larger lockers. After that I - foolishly - decided to look for an internet cafe, following my instinct. I mean somewhere around the station there should be some sort of internet provider yes? Long story short I got lost MAJORLY and later had to ask the same information desk again. The old guy was like "Man you should have asked me in the first place, cause it's RIGHT OVER THERE." /doh Just across the street from where the lockers were. There was even a big sign saying "Internet: This way".
W-whatever I got familiar with the area that way...

Now here's a part where my memory isn't 100% accurate anymore. I'm positive that I chose to drive to Shin-Osaka because I knew the Youth Hostel was there. But I can't remember if I had already booked my room there by this point or if I did it in the morning in that Internet Cafe. There's the question of why I didn't book it as soon as I knew about its existence or how I was able to call my mother from the Internet Cafe because it's prohibited to call in there.
Let's just roll with this version: I already booked the youth hostel (and the hotel in Tokyo) when I was in Fukuoka but there was a limit as to when you can sleep there earliest so there was a SCHEDULED homeless day right from the very beginning. And since I was already prepareed in my heart to sleep in the Internet Cafe I didn't go for the Capsule Hotel... which I found later that day.
RIGHT NEXT TO THE LARGER LOCKERS. OTL

PS: I'm not sure if you know this already but I'm also using twitter for some rather trivial but more recent news. Feel free to follow!
PPS: Kaja, Emlan and Kim were the only ones to remember my birthday. Feena and Aza remembered a bit later... But all you other guys are terrible terrible persons!!!
