uno sloths only go to the bathroom once a week?
wow, it seems weird to use a computer now and it hasnt even been that long...anyway so im back, FINALLY. we left saturday morning, they cancelled our flight to dallas until sunday so we missed our flight to boston and couldnt get one until late last night (we got home around 2 and i went to sleep at 4, hence the not going to school today). i never want to go into an airport again. except im going to oake soon so..i'll have to. yeh so they made me miss most of the oscars, which i was seriously pissed off about, plus now i havent practice oboe ONCE since my last lesson and i have one in like 2 hours. UGHHHHHHHHHH.
however yesterday we went to the airport around 12 and they got us the flight for the evening, so we're like cool lets go shopping until then! theres this huge mall in dallas, they call it the 2-mile mall...its pretty awesome. so i went semi-dress-shopping, and i almost found a good one but the top of it was messed up..oh well. BUT i did get an AMAZING prom dress..ino its too early etc etc but it was so gorgeous and fit really well so my mom and i decided it was worth it. OMG im in love with it. we also got a black blousey thing that i can prolly wear for oake even though they said to get a black gown. but i doubt theyll care if its a shirt and skirt.
anyway so the trip itself was pretty awesome until then...some highlights and lowlights:
+ seeing a cloud forest, like a rainforest but..colder? i forget the exact difference
+ going to a bat museum..theyre so adorable
+ amazing food..basically everything is rice and beans plus meat or fish or w/e, and its usually not spicy. in other words my perfect food.
+ amusingness from my brothers
+ long horse-back ride to see a waterfall..and i cantered! not on purpose..my horse was trotting so im like ok fine but then it decided to canter and i was like AHHHH WTF but it was fun
- on the way back i was SO SORE plus a horse bit me..my moms horse was really nasty and it got too close to mine and decided to bite me. kinda freaked me out..it didnt break the skin or anything tho
- it was actually kinda cold and rainy in monte verde (the first place we stayed w/ the cloud forest) and since my pants were muddy from the ride i had to wear capris
+ so in quepos (second place, in the south) it was GORGEOUS weather..very very hot and humid
+ saw a ton of monkeys, right outside the hotel and also in a forest thing where we hiked..they were adorable
+ also saw a ton of iguanas and a few sloths..usually they just looked like a ball of fur way up in a tree but once we saw a baby which was moving around..it was sooooooo cute
+ canopy tour! they take you to this place in a jungle where you're really high up, and you zipline around...it was awesome. i tried to go upside down on the last one but its really hard to kick your feet up high enough. there were also rappels (you go straight down on a rope) which were seriously scary and one tarzan swing
+ learning some spanish

hmm thats about it...ill have some pictures later. its getting really awkward to keep talling various ppl how i cant go to anything..like we have this whole list of gigs for rapper and i can only go to like one of them cuz theyre usually during NEC or something. and NEC itself is such a pain cuz theyre REALLY strict about attendance and saturday afternoon is a bad time to always be busy. i mean i love being in it but..jeez. and i still dont know my oake music very well. i think things will be a little calmer in april once oake and conclavette are done...but then ill hafta do sat prep and driving (i was planning to get my permit this week but theres no time..prolly next week) and semi shopping plus school is the last thing on my mind but i hafta keep da grades up. so..life is fun. but at least im not exhausted for once..i slept from about 4 am to 1 pm last night (or rather today)..heh heh.
ok this entry is way too long and orly just came home so ill go now. byeas!
