are you treating the house and yard as well as the dog? if you remove all the fleas from the dog, but they're still living around the house or yard, your dog will just continue to get infested.
my vet no longer sells frontline, she said its losing its effectiveness. we use vectra for flea and tick control.
I'm a big fan of Comfortis. My holistic vet recommended it to me and she and her staff all use it on their dogs. Also, vacuum your house really well and sprinkle borax on the carpet and furniture.
you need to treat the house as well. once you get rid of all the fleas in your house, your Teddy should get some solid relief.
if you have carpets, Diatomaceous earth is a good natural way to kill the fleas without harming your pets. You can get it at most feed stores and landscaping stores.
everything everyone else has said and i advise stay away from flea collars. they can be toxic when once wet, granted i know your not bathing your dog with them on they are also pointless since they only work around the neck anyways.
