For the most part, I like where I work.  My speciffic job has become a situation I can not stay in at the current rate of pay.  In the past, I've been interviewed for promotions, and offered the positions, twice.  My manager wanted it, the District Administrator wanted it.  Personal put a squash on it both times.  Why pay me more for doing the work ( Read more... )

Oh, B. I'm sorry they're taking such horrible advantage of you!!!

(What's FASFA?)

You deserve a challenging and rewarding job that appreciates all that you bring to the table!!

I'm here to support you in any way I can - whether it's to look over cover letters or just to be an ear for a rant.

<3 you...

Thank you. Just being an ear is more help then you know.

FASFA is the financial aid application that we have to fill out here in the states. Since I can't afford to go back to school on my own dime, I need to get the government to toss me some fee waivers and maybe a grant. Can't get anything without that form.

I'm finally getting it through my thick skull that I won't be able to make a comfortable living without that magic piece of paper that says I'm smart enough to do certain jobs. It really bugs me because I know a LOT of people who have degrees who are as dumb as stumps... But that is another rant lol

I got my application all done up and transferred to the new state server. Also started browsing current job openings and it looks like I'll be spending a small fortune in stamps sending apps out in a week or so.

I did see that the state now accepts résumé so I may take you up on looking one over when I come up with one... I haven't even seen what the formatting is supposed to look like now a days.
