Gaaaaaaaaaaaah, the TENSION. The perfectly shown, heart-rending TENSION.

Poor Sebastian... Honor bound to keep his word, and honor bound to protect his friends who are covering for his disappearance (and thus keeping an army from coming down on Beast's head).

I honestly am not sure which way I want him to go. I want him to choose his word and Beast because Beast needs to know that he can trust Sebastian (maybe enough to let him go for a while and count on him to return?), but that will make him stress over the fate of his friends until 1) they manage to convince Anne (big if) or 2) Beast lets him go to save them (also big if).

And if he chooses Dirk and Branwyn to save them from his sister, Beast will just dive deeper into his self-destructive isolation, and Sebastian will feel GUILTY over breaking his word.
