Ugggg... I wish I had it in me to do some worthwhile illustrations for DISfunkshion. My editor asked me to do three pieces for the issue they're working on and the two I've done and submitted are just, blah. I just wish I had, I don't know put more effort into them. I was thinking, maybe it's because I draw to many things everyday and it's like

awesome snake; anyways, i heard that when we have art blocks or some other sort of block, its not because we dont have ideas, but its because we lack this certain energy that fuels us. and we all know mental energy can't be fueled by something, it fuels itself.

I don't know whenever I draw the two characters close or something I always make it so that one looks willing and the other looks a bit hesitant.

I sort of know what you mean. There is a certain mindset you just have to be in to create stuff... and if I'm just not in the mood, it's just forced.

In my case, I *usually* have time to come back and fix things as I see fit (thanks to a mini buffer and update delay)... but when I fall behind schedule and don't have time to re-work things, I find those strips/drawings are rather.. lacking in some ways. X_X;

Yes! Exactly! I've found that I have different mindsets even for drawing xD Usually one for anime and one for that other weird crap.

Luckily you guys push out three strips a week! :D So there's lots of opportunity to, ummm... recompensate (is that the right word for it? xD) or something? But we're all going to do work we think is absolutely the ugliest thing ever, but that just makes the really good ones all the more special? haha

I tend to actually draw better when I'm drawing a lot... It's kinda weird, cuz it's like once I'm on a roll I keep going?;; Otherwise I just don't draw at all haha orz;;

Yes! I get that way too sometimes! It's like if one turns out really good then you get all motivated and pumped to do another one! xD
