Am now the owner of a proper grown-up business account (my new account opening best friend at NatWest, Trevor  tells me).  Thought it'd be a huge drawn-out process, but turns out, not.  It wasn't even based on funds I had available, just whether they had my Anit-Money Laundering Docs on file.  Woo!  Also have Estimate, Invoice and Licence templates ( Read more... )

Oops, hey I silped on that spilled coffee as I walked in, can I sue?

1m public liability insurance is usually the norm. I know it sounds an obscene amount of money but when you think that some of these court cases are coming out with £750,000 then you can see why you need it.

Funning aside. I really wish you well in this new venture. I hope it all goes great for you.

We have a small family biz, and we also have the 1m too. I think it's pretty standard.

Good luck setting up the new "official" office. lol I hate taking apart computers and setting them back up. Too many darn things to plug back in.
