Another productive day, I think.  Designed a flyer for all these drama schools (sneak peek here).  It's 1/3 letter size to fit in a standard envelope.  Thoughts comments?  I'm a bit worried that Lady M is in soft focus on the left whereas the others are quite hard.  Does it look funny?  (Usual warnings about hot-linking/nicking/etc. but it's ( Read more... )

Looks good. I like the black & white (plus it's cheaper on printing costs!)

I'm no good at marketing blurb, but can pass it under the nose of a friend at work if you'd like. He's written an amount of marketing blurb for some of our print customers. Or I can just ask him for some hints/tips/do's/don'ts. Just let me know.

"cheaper" is a very relative term - the best quote I can find so far is about £60+VAT (I think it's because it's such a short run - I only want 150).

On the marketing blurb - anything would be appreciated! What I've got at the moment is an utter mess: just some randomly strung together sentences with no drive... If your mate can offer any tips, I'd be extraordinarily grateful!

Yeah, short runs don't work out too cheap on the "cost per flyer", but it's pointless having loads printed if they're not going to be used.

My friend has offered his help and I've sent an email to you personal email with the info. I hope you find it useful!
