NO ENEMY...
Sirius had no enemies that he knew of.
No-one that would actually want to kill him anyway.
“Snape?” Remus suggested.
But Sirius had laughed and said that everyone needed a nemesis.
“The Dark Lord?”
Sirius rolled his eyes. The Dark Lord was everyone’s enemy.
Remus had laughed and kissed him then. A lingering kiss that promised much more.
It was then that Sirius realised one kiss from Remus vanquish him. A stray touch could be his undoing. A smouldering look across a crowded room could make him forget everything.
From that moment on he was glad Remus wasn’t the enemy.
