Happy 2014!!
I hope everyone had a happy new year celebration. Husband and I didn't talk about it much and surprisingly ended up doing the usual. We got a pizza from Hound Dog's, watched The Hunt and then proceeded to watch CNN with Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper.

Final NaNoWriMo Update
I managed a whopping 11912 words this year. That's what happens when you spend more time watching Orange is the New Black instead of writing. :) I follow the show's Twitter account and it's so weird how they'll throw out lines and I'll remember exactly what was happening in that scene or the situation. Has Internet Time Become Real Time?

NaNoWriMo Update and Other Stuff
I wrote 11912 words during November for NaNoWriMo. I should've had a plan or something. That, and attending the weekly write-ins would've kept me more on track.
Saw Hunger Games: Catching Fire and while the adaptation of the book was pretty accurate the movie was okay. It was my least favorite book of the trilogy.

Roller Skating

My Sunday
Tonight I started watching "The B in Apartment B" and it's actually pretty funny. Saw The Exceptional Now and it wasn't as great as what everyone was telling me. I can see the similarities between it and Say AnythingDid a couple of loads of laundry. Took a short nap. Heard from a neighbor who wanted to walk our dogs. 12 Years a Slave
Last night I was able to see a special screening of this. I can't remember the last time I was with an audience who gave audible (non-laughing) responses to what was on the screen. Towards the end were many tears. Afterwards people were wrecked and more than a few wanted or needed drinks.
Don't go if you want a feel good movie.

Sweetest Day and Today
Saturday was Sweetest Day. My husband and I went to Cuco's, our favorite Mexican restaurant, then to an art exhibit opening. One co-worker had his installation go up.
