Am off to Beijing for a week!

I can't believe i bote tix for the Aaron_Kwok concert when i knew less than a handful of his songs. (Thanks to the final push by HP who watched it in TW.)
And i am so glad i went for it!!
The record breaking 480 degree rotating stage was awesome awesome.
Imagine a rectangular stage that can turn 180 degrees in a circle on the ground....

Botanical gardens trip
I guess in our lives, very often we take things ard us for granted very easily.
Its only now that i realise how very true our school song was.
Glad that i live am i, that the sky is blue
Glad for the country lanes and the fall of dew

Suspect X was a fantastic show, and in my opinion, had one of the best scripts in recent years.
The intricacy of the plot coupled with fantastic direction really nailed it for me. While the usual detective movies make you guess who the murderer is, and if there is a twist, the twist would be that the murderer was someone whom you least expect, ( ( Read more... ) -

Oh man, dying under a pile of never ending work.
But still, there are things to be happy about...like a good book, 2 great movies in a row plus the Cheer Chen concert ytd. Shall have a proper post to rave abt those another time. =) -
Post-Concert thoughts
距離One 華健新加坡演唱會已經一個月…
感覺上像個遙遠又甜美的夢.
那晚, 華健宏亮的歌聲如此的透徹心屝.
那晚, 樂手們的精湛演出又是如此的驚心動魄.
那晚, 我敗給了每一個音符之下.
無倫是華健的歌聲, 樂隊的表演, 廣眾的反應和互動, 歌曲的編排, 舞台的設計, 還是音響的效果, 都幾乎完美…而且, 那麼震撼又完美的演出…竟然會發生在新加坡!
曲終人散之後, 我才後之後覺....這就是我等待以久的演唱會!
究竟等了多久, 我自己也不知道.
4年? 7年? 還是8年?
我不知道, 也不重要.
重要的是..那一份感動最終..真的回來了..在最後一秒鐘真的回來了.
我不知道還有沒有下次.
不過這場演唱會讓我有個希望...
也除去了我心中的一些疑問.
唉. 一個月啦.
璀璨的所有已遠去, 喧鬧的迴音卻揮不去.

Walking in Singapore
After a long long long time (to me), i can finally meet the TWBYs in SG again!!
The last they were here, i was still in Melb.
And its a shitty thing when i had to cancel my leave and work the whole day..."-_-
But at least i had the nights and the sat off! And off we went to the tourisy places..

CNY 2009
Stayed in SG this CNY, and did the usual rounds of visiting relatives.
I think its even more tiring than work! 4 trips a day!
Every year the routine is something like this:
First to my uncle's place, then to my grandma's place. Then to my aunt's place. And back to my uncle's place for dinner!
