Alright, this is still in the planning stages, so I appreciate inputs to work out the kinks.
Magical Girls/Boys/Warriors -> Exorcists
Pretty self-explanatory. Form contracts for their wish, get 'exorcism' magic as Exorcists, fight Akumas/Noahs
Depending on their wish, each Exorcist may get a specific power of their own. For example, a wish to heal someone's disease will give the Exorcist accelerated self-healing.
Soul Gems -> Innocences
It's still their soul in a convenient form. It can take on any shape at the Exorcist's convenience.
Grief Seeds -> Dark Matters
Corrupted Innocence, whether from overusing magic or the Exorcist having a highly emotional time. Powerful Akumas, such as Noahs, will drop them when they 'die'. They can be used to absorb the taint from Innocence to purify them.
However, if the Dark Matter is too dark, it can give birth to new Akumas. So Golems generally dispose of them before it happens. Generally.
Witches -> Akuma/Noah
The forms of Exorcists whose Innocence corrupted from taint or despair completely. After they transform, they release a large amount of energy, which is what the Golems are after with the contracts. Very powerful Exorcists will skip the Akuma stage and went straight to 'Noah'.
Now, strength-wise. The Akuma would be roughly Level 3-4 to match the Witches' strength, comparably. However, particularly powerful ones like Walpurgis will be known as Noah.
Noahs are very strong and most importantly, seems to have retained their thinking skills. However, Akumas can evolve into Noahs, letting them regain their lost thinking skills.
The Earl is a very powerful Noah that was predicted to appear to bring ruin.
Akumas can have 'familiars', which are clones of themselves they spawned.
Kyubey -> Golems/Timcampy
Thee's multiple of Golems going around and making contract in order to combat entropy.
