Remixing is okay!

Ugh. After everything I've learned about the vidding community, this is kind of sad:

" @remixeverything: Are there any well-known female remixers?"

Though this could be interpreted as only audio remixing, a later tweet clarified, "Let's say women doing mash-ups or video remixes." I took it as such because of his "Everything is a Remix" project

Heh. I thought first of the vidding community since Vividcon is like 95% female. The tendency of some vidders to "hide", and the common assumption that any old pseudonym you see refers to someone male (unless there are indicators somewhere) are probably at play. Either way, he didn't reply back to me.

I'd venture to guess that about 40% of the comments I make on Youtube are correcting someone who thinks I'm a dude. Which has become even more prevalent since I started using the Kit intro.
