How’s my driving?
I’ve been playing as Shaw for a while and I would like to know what you think of him.
Should he be more evil or less evil? More cocky or less cocky?

I love feedback and giving feedback, so when I saw this, I couldn't resist!

I've got to say, first, and get it out of the way, how awesome you are for playing Shaw. He's not a very popular character, his movie incarnation even less so, so to see someone going for him instead of another Charles or Erik was quite a treat! You infuse your Shaw with a wicked sense of humor and a megalomania that's grand without being swaggering.

Shaw was one of the few First Class characters who's movie counterpart was arguably an improvement over his original version. While he took a huge power jump, he also got an infusion of believable personality, in stark contrast to the pompous and almost ridiculous Sebastian of the comics. I mean, really, who names their son 'Shinobi

Oh my god, thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking time to write this :) I really liked Sebastian when I saw the movie, so I just had to play as him, since there were loads of Charles' and Eriks out there.

I admit I've been lazy with the icons, though. I need to go icon hunting / make more of them.

You're welcome! Like you, I ended up like Sebastian in the movie in spite of myself, and seeing someone choose to play a unique character like him was really cool. Especially since with his energy absorbing = immortality, he could be played in just about any time.

If you have screencaps, link me up and I can whip up some icons for you. I'm not a pro icon maker, but I'm pretty decent.

Okay I have to say that I absolutely LOVE playing with your Shaw. He is amazing. Which is saying something because I can't stand Shaw to save my life. But your Shaw just... there's something about him that draws me to him.

So thank you for putting up with me and Erik. You and your muse are awesome.

Alright, I've got something.

I've been loving my thread with you so far, but all of your posts have been speech-only. I can't imagine how Shaw is standing, if he's touching Jaf, if he's speaking louder or softer. I'd love to see you add actions to your posts. Yank Jaf to his knees! Touch his cheek when he's not expecting it!

I've been enjoying this thread and this opportunity to play Japhrimel bound--that was one of the possible verses I wanted to explore when I made the character, and it's been a delight having a magnificent bastard to play him off of.
