The Six-Course Challenge
Members who wish to meet this challenge will complete a multi-chaptered story or a series of drawings based on a menu of 6 prompts.
Artists! FanArt entries must be new, specifically drawn for this challenge.
Authors! FanFiction entries must be new, specifically written for this challenge.
- All entries must involve Sesshoumaru & Kagome as the main characters. Their relationship must be the focus.
- There is no upper word limit for this challenge, but we ask that your challenge pieces be at least 100 words in length.
- You'll need to tackle the menu in order... beginning with hors d' oeuvers and ending with dessert.
- The prompts (and their accompanying descriptions) are subject to interpretation. You have whatever leeway you need to work them into your plot.
- Authors, for this challenge, you'll create a multi-chaptered story. One story. Six chapters.
- Stories can be of any setting, genre, and rating. Entries with adult content will be tagged ‘hentai’.
- You can post your entries to the venue of your choice (like Dokuga, FF, MM, PD, DA, AFF, and LJ), but you’ll need to do a post (with the link) here to have your entry recognized.
- Challenges have no deadline, so you can complete them at your own pace.
- This is not a contest; all participants will receive a banner for their efforts. You’ll want to collect a full set:

- Hors d' Oeuvers: stimulating appetite, piquing interest
- Bisque: spooning cream, savoring flavors
- Intermezzos: contrasting coldness, refreshing tartness
- Entree: satisfying complexity, lasting impression
- Fruit & Cheese: ripening succulence, mellowing sharpness
- Dessert: melting sweetness, finishing touch
