I finally caved in and bought some shrinky dinks sheets, they should arrive here in a week or so. I want to make some cute custom charms for the community, and instead of taking commissions I want to try and directly sell them, since I need a bit of a break from the pressure of commissions. Plus I know some people prefer to choose from pre-existing

Hmmmm, in my opinion, for Pokemon, I think you should definitely try for the Gen 6 starters, as they are the most recent right now.
For other Pokemon, I definitely recommend Noibat and Noivern, but also Pumpkaboo, Tyrunt line and Sylveon.
For older, I'd say go for cutesy POkemon like Mew, Joltik, maybe Veelus and such. I'd say it's a hit or miss sometimes.

For theme, oh man, I thought at first that since we have FIFA world cup, maybe something with football or sports. Those haven't been there so far! I personally love sports and would love them in some uniforms, but not sure about others.

If you don't want to risk it, then the poffins and food are the best way. Makes them look cuter that way.
Or how about sleeping Pokemon with some cute accessories lie pillows, moon, stars, pajamas (or pajama hat), holding plushies and such? I would go for those in an instant X'D

Sports/football could be cute, since I think there's only been Pikachu merchandise so far :o not sure how well it would translate with other Pokémon too. I could even make them wear a blank football uniform and let the buyer decide what color the shirt can be depending on their country...!

I didn't think about sleeping Pokémon. That's a really good one, very cute and popular theme. I'll see how I can combine everything in a style that works. Thanks so much for the suggestions!!

Yeah, Pikachu in the football uniform merchandise is very very popular, and I am sure there will be interest!
That's actually a nice idea about the uniforms! Our football team tends to be either in white or blue, so my choice for a Pokemon would be that! Have you seen this?

I think that they would personally look adorable in uniforms, and I am quite sad not seeing merchandise of the others.

Oh, and btw, looking at the uniforms, if you decide to make football for example, you could not only choose the color of the uniform, but maybe add a flag like they have it? That would be another interesting one imo :)

Ahh that picture is so cute. The addition of flags would make it better.. I'll see what I can come up with in the next few days!
