As promised, if you choose an icon of mine, I shall do my best to write a fic inspired by it. First one up is for dbassassin. Glad you liked! I'm sure catnip!Minerva fic has been perpetrated before, but once it came into my head it wouldn't be shifted.

I am now suffering from an attack of acute cat deprivation, though. I do miss having them around so much :-(

Me too! I wish I could have a kitty, but being a renter in this town means not having a pet, unless you're willing to love somewhere pretty grotty (which I'm not).

Well, I had at first envisaged this as taking place pre-Weasleys, cf Filch's predecessor Apollyon Pringle's cat. But your suggestion, I see now, adds a whole new level of poignancy, in which Minerva slips back during her catnip dream and encounters a long lost love. Woe!

Given that AP is mentioned precisely once in the books, I think I have more to confess in terms of Potter nerdishness for remembering him!

Ah, I came up to Cambridge on the Mayday bank holiday last year, didn't I? Although I am going to be in London, I think I'm probably going to be tied up (in the usual nothing-happens-for-two-weekends-then-everything-happens-at-once scenario...) Sorry!
