Unfortunately, when I posted this on there n back, I'd made a mistake, having written that Finduilas wanted to spend time with her youngest son. Fortunately, my continuity expert Denise warned me of the error. This takes place sometime after the end of Ultimatums.

Very poignant little piece, thanks to that ending! I loved the description of Boromir's wish:

“Was the wish what you wanted the most, Boromir?” Predictably, the word ‘sword’ had been printed on the parchment.

Poor Finduilas, though. Speaking of whom, Ultimatums? ::bats eyes::

I didn't know you had a LJ - I love your icons; where did you get them? Brand's face looks very much like what I think he would look like, and it seems familiar. I've seen the Hethlin picture before, but not Faramir or Andrahar.

Hi Raksha!

I've not had it for very long, as you can see. The avatars are all E.W.'s work, except for the Hethlin one which is mine. Brand and Andra are actual full-sized pictures that she did and that I sized down. The Faramir wasn't originally a Faramir, but some art she did for some fantasy cards that I took for Faramir, because I thought he looked just perfect. I think the original was destroyed in a computer mishap so it's a good thing I did! The originals for Brand and Andra are on:

They're both the definitive Brand and Andra for me. I'd like to do a few more icons myself, but my computer is running on about a 20th of its capacity at present and I can't upload the stuff to do it.

Glad you liked the Finduilas ficlet! She was very cooperative in a mournful sort of way.
