Ohhh that was just so lovely. I've always hoped that Amrothos would surely find a woman that matched his intellect - he just wouldn't find her at the balls he avoided :-)

I'm a great fan of your Dol Amroth-verse so it's lovely to see you revisit it.

I'd been wondering when I would get the chance to describe Amrothos' The Woman. Like Sherlock Holmes, he has to be intellectually bested to respect a woman.

I agree that Amrothos would not notice a woman, unless she distinguished herself in someway. But I don't think it has to be in a scientific way. He noticed Hethlin (not in a romantic way) because she was different.
I also would like to point out that, someone can be sociable and very intelligent. I thought that Akilah was a bit of a stereotype.
