Geez, they were so good together, weren't they? *wipes tears* Okay, this is beautiful. And sad. And just them. Even now, they're still looking out for each other, assuring one another so it's not so hard for either.

I love Luke's question at the very beginning. And Reid's declaration that it was all worth it. YES! This is what I've always believed and I still wish that Reid had said this to Luke in his final moments--that he didn't regret coming to Oakdale at all even if he meant he died. So thank you for writing that.

Oh, and all the things they did do together are now good enough for me if they're good enough for Reid. :) And I love this line: Reid’s heart never belonged to anyone more than it belonged to Luke. And Luke knew it. Wow. And true.

The ending is hard but the comfort for both is that they will be together again. I truly enjoyed this, a sad fic that I loved and looked forward to--and it may not be easy to read but it's so well-written that it's worth the tears and pain. Thank you so much for writing it. *saves to

They were amazing together. :) What is so special about them is how they mutually wanted to take care of each other. They both wanted to make the other person happy and make the other person proud of them. They both just generally wanted to be better for the other person, and that's beautiful. I think such a huge part of their relationship was what a great team they were, so I really wanted to make that the focus of this - that they'd always be thinking of each other and still wanting to make the other person happy. :) It kills me because they were ALREADY such a great team in the short time they were together. Imagine if they had years together - they would've worked out their kinks and would've been an INCREDIBLE team.
