Since the beginning of this story I had hoped that Reid some how got to stay on earth with Luke, so this is really heartbreaking for me right now and I'm crying rivers.

That's also why I normally skip stories in here about dead Reid as I can't stop crying.

Your writing was beautiful but please write some happy stuff next time..

I loved that Reid named the things that they were able to do together.
I also loved that Reid said that it was worth it. *cries*

It didn’t matter what physically happened - Reid’s heart never belonged to anyone more than it belonged to Luke. And Luke knew it.

This was just so wonderful and sad and heartbreaking. But at least I am comforted that they will be together again someday. *sniffs*

Reid and Luke are absolutely perfect for each other. They balance each other out and bring out the best in one another. They challenge each other (in good ways and bad, lol), but only because they understand each other so well. <3

This line seems simple but my mind instantly pictured Luke because it's SO Luke.
“I love you too, I love you too,” Luke said, nodding frantically.

I don't what to say except that this was so beautiful yet heartbreaking at the same time.

"They had to be apart for a while, but they'd make it back to one another, one day. They were Reid and Luke. They were too them to let anything stand in their way."
This last bit reminds me that LuRe's relationship, even though it was short *cries*, seemed to stand the test of time. And even though they're separated now, they will be together again and their relationship will always be ever-lasting.

Okay! I'm back!

So this was simply BEAUTIFUL. it was SO heartbreaking and oh my lord did i cry... but it was hopeful. the question about, "will i see you again?" and Reid crying is what really killed me!

The last bit was the best, because it is so true. I think that had the show continued and yet they'd still killed off Reid [thank god they claim they wouldn't have, though...] this would have been their only option to prevent rioting =P Though I'm fairly certain we would have rioted and stormed the studios anyway xD Lol! <3

If the show continued and Reid had still died... geez, I DEFINITELY don't think I would've made it this long continuing to watch it, lol! I was just thinking about that today - I watched ATWT for years, but it would've been awfully difficult to continue watching without Reid. :'( Don't know if I could do it.

I agree though - had the show continued with killing Reid off, they'd have to give us something like this. His death had such a lack of closure for Luke and for us. We would've rioted no matter what, though. ;) Haha.
