Applying law to the facts

Whenever possible, I try to put all the legal theory we're learning into practical applications in my head to learn it.  Scenarios involving A and B, or D and V are just not as memorable as putting names and faces to things ( Read more... )

When you do start making money, be sure to leave it to Keira and George. Then forget all about it, even after you get married.
That's my advice, as an anonymous impartial person...

You can't cheat your spouse in death. Even if I left 100% to Keira and George, she would be legally entitled to her elective share, and that is almost impossible to get around.

Even if I left 100% to my own kids, it would still apply.

Also, don't assume that I'll ever make money. The mega-rich lawyer is a stereotype. Not all Irish are alcoholics, not all italians have mob connections and not all lawyers make a lot of money.
