i finally saw Star Wars last night with mercedes. it was alright.... yeah, probably the best of the prequels. before the movie, we bought a pint of bacardi, so we were drinking rum and coke all through the movie. i love drinking in movie theaters

what are your views on gun control?

personally, i think that the 2nd amendment is outdated and unnecessary and should be removed, but thats not gonna happen anytime soon. i don't think it is a natural right for people to have overly easy means of killing other people.

that being said, since the 2nd amendment is gonna be here for a while, gun control laws have to be more specific. one of the things i learned from this guy (who owns 40 guns, he says) is that the Assault Weapons Ban only banned particular brands of guns (those with a detachable stock, a flash suppressor, and a bayonette mount). if we want an effective ban on them, the bill must specifically describe the characteristics of an assault weapon. also, it would be nice if guns could have built-in trigger locks. having all sorts of different permits for having rifles, handguns, and ammunition would make the whole process too much of a hassle for gun owners. and yes, specific guns, like the tech 9, must be made illegal.

I would agree with you that the 2nd ammendment is outdated because it was meant to allow the citizenry to rise up against the government and if need by, overthrow it in a bloody revolution as that is the reason we were able to form this country in the first place. It was the final means of checks and balances AGAINST an overpowering government
