Told you it was a busy week!
I'm so sorry I neglected you! I was thinking, omg, this day would make a great journal entry, but alas, I forgot to enter, or realized I needed sleep.
I think I made 7 practices this week and 2 meets. Lordy, swimming is consuming me. I think my whole body structure has changed recently. I'm getting really strong, and my jeans are loose. Kinda cool, but I just bought them! I suppose I will have to suck it up and wear a belt. Boo!
College Apps are fun. Really. Trying to crunch everything possible about you, and every cool thing you have ever done in your life, trying to get the application reader to like you, in a few small spaces is invigorating. Really! I like my essay, and today I went over my app with my mom to make the final awesome touches to it. I sent in the BC supplemental too. Whee! God, I hope I get in somewhere. I'm sure you, LJ, will be among the first to know. Probably Mom and Dad first, considering they are my parents!
Oh, I read Mr. B's letter for me! I'm a "renaissance woman!" I'm flattered. I need to get on Rory's ass for him to write me one too. I know it will be awesome, but I have to keep asking him to do it. I can imagine, "...she even kept on me to write this goddam letter for her. She's responsible alright!"
I know I mentioned problems on my report card earlier, but I wanted to let you know they are resolved and that I am one happy Kris! Mr. Lyon agreed that I deserved the A and in Chem I got a B or B-, getting the AP credit. Both teachers were very eager to help me, and I am so happy. It pays to be polite.
Meets went pretty well. Lost both, but they were strong meets. I got a best time in the 500...5:40. So happy about that. I felt like absolute shit though, so awkward in the water. Hohum, can't complain about an 8 second drop. The IM is good too, but wanna go faster obviously. Yesterday I cruised the 100 breast, so that was a bad time. I saw no one was around me, so I won and didnt tire myself out. I wanted to be fast for the 400 free relay, so we could win it! We did.
Last night was so much fun. After the meet, I stayed at the football game for a bit, until the half (21-7 win wooot!) and then went to Courntney my love's. Me, Kristen T, Maddie, and Court slept over. Mad fun. We played some intense scattergories and ate cookies. Tried yet again to stay awake through Napoleo Dynamite...but fialed. I passed out when he was playing with the ball on the pole in gym. That's about the last thing I remember. Then we went to practice, boo! Had fun anyway. We did TaeBo, actually very hard. After practice, Court and I went to COLDSTONE!!! Mad good. Everyone made fun of us for eating ice cream so early. Never too early for ice cream!
Going out to dinner soon. Bertucci's and seeing Leo. Not a bad combo.
