Well... I have so many good friends in the Cessna club... so much support for this flight to Alaska. A lot of advice, a lot of tips, a lot of moral support, and people are even sponsoring me. I didn't ask for money at all, but here it is! That, along with the money from my grandpa, and I'm up to $1250... John Boy is even going to top off my fuel ( Read more... )

I've gotta take the plane to FL, first, and the jaunt into Tejas is because I have a bunch of friends in the Dallas area - Gary, Nathan, Cyndi, Dale, perhaps Konrad, and I am hoping my friend Ed can fly on up from Houston.

I'm going all the way up to Barrow... just because! And then I have to get on back down to Anchorage as that is where I will be living and keeping my plane.

As for publshing it? Oh yeah. I've got a friend in Europe who writes for aviation magazines trying to stir up some interest over there. She's already wrote an article on the cessna club - an entire blurb about me! NEAT!!

I will be taking a lot of pictures, a lot of notes, and I will be updating every night, if I find internet!
