Before all else,
my obligatory list of latest acquisitions. Then we'll get down to the nit and grit.
- MegaMan Anniversary Collection
- Dragonball Z: Legendary Super Warriors - (Before I get a bunch of comments about how nerdy this game is, you should give it a try. It has enormous replay value and follows the story of the cartoon from beginning to end. A great pick for a DBZ fan. And only $10!)
- Pokemon Sapphire
- Spider-Man 2
And from Amy's garage sale:
- Dragon Strike - (Oh yeah, bitches. And for four dollars.)
- Star Wars, Alien, and Aliens all on VHS
- A Guns And Roses picture - (For only ten cents, how could I say no?)
- MechWarrior 4: Vengeance
- A Sailor Moon lunchbox and keychain for Karen
As you can plainly see, I'm using all of the money I've been earning with my job for cool, fantastic, non-nerdy things.
I've been hearing quite a bit about McHenry's youth falling to the Dark Side. What happened to the strong anti-drug convictions I prided my entire group of friends on? That's pretty disappointing.
In addition to working for the Public Works in Richmond, I might be working as a Community Service Officer for the Police Department, too. It means working on the weekends from 11 to 5, but for $10 an hour, I'll manage.
I've been de-friended by a lot of people. If it's because of my two month absence, that's just crazy. With work, Karen, and scattered plans with friends, there isn't a lot of time for the Internet, as I've said before. But I still get on every now and then to read everyone's journals. And while I'm on the subject, I don't see enough of my old group. We need another Halo party or some Fox Garden.
I'll try to update this more often from now on.
