Yeah, Claire in Epitaph One is the main problem I have with the theory that she wasn't actually a sleeper of some sort at the end. I'm fascinated with how she may have gotten from the Clyde imprint back to a Claire Saunders who's trusted by the group again.

There is nothing I love more then a post 'The Hollow Men" story, because there is so many loose ends, and the question of whiskey is so complex. You do a fantastic job of exploring one such possibility, and the ambiguity of what happened during Bennett's shooting? Perfect.

Mostly because I personally think she was not a sleeper at that time, and the alternative could be so many things.

Oh, and this:
There’s something slightly off-center about him, a weight to his shoulders, a neglect to his disheveled appearance that goes beyond simple laziness. She thinks if someone found the right thread, he would unravel. She thinks she may be that thread.

Fanfic potential is definitely the best thing about hanging plot threads!

Whiskey is one of the things I'm most fascinated by in the series. I've thought of plenty of possible explanations for what was going on with her during the shooting scene, but I'm not sure what I actually believe. Since I've already played with 'she really was a sleeper' and 'she was already imprinted with Clyde' in other fics, I thought I'd try for the ambiguity this time.
