Woah. I love this story. It's like i know that as soon as he see's Whiskey what he's going to do, and that it will be utterly heartbreaking.

And it is. The last bit with Adelle? The final twist of the knife.

Wow, thank you! I knew what I wanted to do with the idea pretty early on but wasn't sure how it would work in execution, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That was lovely! The image of Saunders, Whiskey and Bennett overlapping is intense.

Thanks! I kept playing with that part to try and make it come across properly, so I'm glad it worked for you.

Oh. Ouch. Really beautiful picture of Topher's loss of sanity. This is fantastic.

Awwww, Topher. This is just...lovely and heart wrenching.

He knows her scientific achievements, her speech patterns, the uneven curve of her smile. He knows she hates Caroline and likes pigs and wasabi peas. He could look up her history, where she grew up and what her family was like, and create some realistic memories. But he knows nothing about her.

He never got the chance to learn.

You capture the tragedy of their relationship in a single (okay, technically it's two) paragraphs. I can totally picture him obsessing over every tiny detail, replaying the few moments they were able to have together.

And wow, imprinting Whiskey! That's exactly the kind of mindfuck the show would pull. I love the final image as well, especially the label having been worn off.

In conclusion, thank you so much for writing for me (seriously, this fic brings me so much glee!), and I apologize for the appalling delay in responding--I'm still at work on my own fic.
