a promising webcomic it's not got much so far but it updates fairly regularly and I like where it's going. plus I want to record that I knew about it BACK IN THE DAY before it got too popular to like.

That's a tough call but I gotta go with Sierra. The Kings' Quest games are too deliciously evocative of popsicles and not really knowing how to write for me to forget 'em.

What about Hero's Quest/Quest for Glory?

Regardless, I have to say that I'm a bigger fan of LucasArts adventure games. The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge are my favorite two games of all time. And if you can download them somewhere, you can run them on ScummVM!
