ohmigod!!!! my poor idina fell and broke her side yesterday and fractured her rib and so she wasn't able to perform for the last time today!!! that's so awful! i can only imagine how she must feel... let alone her thousand 9 and a half year old devotees! that's terrible! danielle, i'm sure you're with me on this! but at least i saw her twice. quick ( Read more... )

Oh no! T_T I never got to see her, but hopefully she gets better! Poor Idina. She's so amazing too.

she certainly is. but she's done with the show and she never even got to end it properly. that's what's so terrible. today's matinee was supposed to be her last performance and the day before she has this awful fall. i'm so sad for her. she'll be back to broadway. she would never dare leave. ;o)

austin city limits on PBS, friday at midnight... so i dunno if that means thursday going into friday or friday going into saturday. so check that out. and i'm also seeing them at town hall on the 27th. do you know about that?

ok so i'm guessing it happened behind the scrim because it was when she melted... the elevator that takes her down usually was already partially descended so there was like no floor for her to fall into so yeah. you can see the article at broadway.com. whoever pulled that one is obviously gonna get fired. but umm of course rent is gonna wait for her or whatever... she's not just gonna drop off, who else could ever do it? ummm SORRY, no one. just not happening. but anyway. yeah joely didn't get to end it right either, sigh. not fair. but we were lucky enough. ;o)

the phrase is... ready? "ani cholah alaiich". when i see you, i'll tell you how to pronounce it, but the ch sound is the gross famous israeli sound, you know the one... like the chhhhhhanukah sound. word. i think it will definitely come in handy for your career as a professional jewlover. word. and i have not yet heard the new bright eyes cds... how are they? and guess what!?!?!?! yeah that's her. isn't she wonderful? you can't deny that. i love her, she's one of my idols.
