So after that scare with my liver acting up, I did quit drinking for 3 weeks. That may not seem like a big deal to some, but I couldn't remember the last time I went a week without for over a year. Now I'm back on the booze but I think I'll be able to limit it now, to at least once a week or less, instead of once a day.

I go to an Alcoholic's Anonymous website. They follow a "12 step" program and one of the main things is praying every day to become closer to God. Well, you can count me out now. It's okay... Everything is under control. Things worked themselves out, thankfully. Sometimes all you can do is sit back and watch your life take care of itself. Often, I just don't want to get involved at all.
