Winter is coming; daylight is fleeting; for the students among us, end-of-semester hell is just about to rear its ugly head. What better way to combat such woes than with a super-cheerful comment ficathon?
merlin; arthur/morgana; well, this is awkwardcopperiisulfateNovember 9 2010, 00:43:15 UTC
[ahaha okay so I have no idea what's going on here, only that your prompt inspired it!]
"Father," Arthur walks into the council chambers, maps and papers covering every square inch of the long table, on a morning when he knows that he will find the man alone. "I have something I would like to discuss with you."
He's been putting it off for weeks now but he doesn't think he can put it off any longer. He also doesn't have the nerve to go to Morgana first, telling himself that, this way, at least he will have gotten the more intimidating presence out of the way. He's aware that he might be very wrong about the more intimidating bit (and, as an aside, he thinks he should get them to teach him how to work that look; if the way his manservant talks to him is any indication, Arthur also needs to learn it fast

HAHAHAHA, OH, POOR ARTHUR. ♥ This is PERFECT. It's really unfair that Morgana keeps winding up being related to everyone, because I am pretty sure that all those people have crushes on her. And who wouldn't??
One day Morgana would stop being impossibly beautiful, the edge to her words and her blades would dull and his eyes would stop following her in and out of every room. Surely, the day would come. It had to.
... ye gods, I'm always going to ship them, aren't I.

PRETTY DAMN MUCH.
And you are not alone in the shipping. I almost didn't post it because I was making myself sad thinking, BUT I WANT THEM TO GET MARRIED AND BE SNARKY AND BEAUTIFUL. That route would have probably led to ANGST so random cracky-fun route it was.
