Winter is coming; daylight is fleeting; for the students among us, end-of-semester hell is just about to rear its ugly head. What better way to combat such woes than with a super-cheerful comment ficathon?

There's wind in her hair and water whipping at her face, rising up from the ocean as if to greet her as wave after wave crashes into her ship. A storm is coming, thick grey clouds having gathered together to obscure what had been a clear blue sky, but Anamaria is smiling sunshine bright, in her element here more than anwyhere. She's always been at one with the sea. It's an extension of her; ebbing and flowing, as unpredictable as it is free

Gorgeous! In particular, "perhaps slightly mad - she did serve under Jack Sparrow once, after all." It really communicates that this is a while later, and both of them are known, and she's come a long way since then. And the idea that she has her ship and her freedom, and that's all they need. ("We're still flying." "It's not much." "It's enough.") Vivid and strong.
