It was a depressing feeling to hold a dying womans hand. To kiss her cold lips and still feel the warmth of her enormous heart through her eyes. I'll never forget the way she looked at me or the softness of her hands and how I was afraid to squeeze too hard.

I remember the one time where I experienced a loved one's death so close: my grandfather. When I was eleven he was battling cancer in the pancreas or something like that. He was in a hospital bed in our living room because he didn't want to die in some cold hospital and he knew when he was going to die so he called me and my grandmother in and told us, then we said the Our Father catholic bullshit and he died. It still lingers inside me even today.
