you're only incredibly young for such things and of course you can take other paths. don't look at it as "ending up" doing something more or less exciting--you don't have to do life-long career decisions or think of them in terms of where they'll end. you can do what you're doing for a while longer to financially cushion a bit of adventuring, go do that, and then come back to stable, or go on to something else. billions of options. fun to be had. helicopters to fly. chocolate bunnies to fight. the only thing you DON'T want to do is think of where you are as a trap instead of a choice made for good reasons, b/c if you believe that you won't take other chances, whereas if you see it as a choice you can always make more. and that's my philosophical advice for the day! :)
