I have a roommate too. But at least we won't have them for the whole year. And they may be fun, who knows.
I'm so so sorry about camp!!! Maybe the people who buy it will keep it open and you can still go back...I dunno if you would want to. But yeah I'm really sorry. I know how much that meant to you. I'm glad you got to go this summer, at least.
I hate it when camps close! The summer camp I went to every summer when I was little (St. Theresa's Camp) closed down the year I was supposed to go to High School Camp and I wanted to work there when I got into college. It broke my little heart.
Is she AUAP? Mine is, her name is Shoko (I forgot her last name, and I'm too lazy to find the sheet). I think that could be fun. I wanted a single really badly too. Ah well. As Jean told me, c'est la vie.
Oh great!! I was hoping someone would do that, I want to meet my roommate (and put my rug down before she moves all her stuff in). I agree, Shoko is a cute name. So is Miko. I hope they're fun. But yeah, I would love for you to let me in on the 13th. I can meet Shoko and see all of you!!!
Everyone but 10 people on Campus who wanted a single got a roommate because of overcrowding in the halls this year. And since EWU housing guarentees housing, singles got taken away. Because of this, the haunchos at housing are expecting people to move off of campus. If that happens, and numbers go down, those who wanted singles will slowly gain them back, according to deposit dates. Note: the 10 who were able to maintain their single room status were able to do so based on deposit dates and disablitities.
That said, Do, freshmen start moving in on the 17th. Just thought I'd let ya know. :) Can't wait for everyone to get here!

If you wind up having a roommate all year, you can get a $450 AUAP scholarship for the second cycle.
All that rambling and I forgot your question, yes, she is an AUAP student.
