What audio editing program should I pirate? It needs to be something I can record with via USB input from a mixer. Please help, I have to submit some shit for a voice acting audition in a couple days.

Audacity is the best audio recorder/editor, and it's free.

quite welcome :) i love audacity. the jobs i had in ottawa of digitizing and cleaning people's tapes was all done in Audacity for the initial capture, then using various audio restoration programs to clean the waves. tho audacity has some powerful effects algorithms of its own.
