Back from Italy

It should come as no surprise to the people who know me that I have serious self-esteem issues when it comes to my body. They've gone on all my life (and I can actually remember the start of the first big downturn -- Grade 4, when Katie Weeks ended an argument with "at least I'm not the fat one.") So bad it's....
I watched Repo! The Genetic Opera last night. Anthony Head aside, who is made of awesome no matter what he does, I can't decided if the movie was So Bad it's Awesome or just So Bad it's Terrible.
But though I didn't care for the ending, much of the middle, or really anything involving the Largo family, I Cannot. Stop. Watching. This. Scene.

Yelling Class Speaks
I've gotten a few responses to my e-mail from the various teachers from my program. The relevant bits are below -- generally, if they indicate that they are a member of a minority, they are. If not, they are white. And yes, this is a biased sample of those who cared enough to respond. Still.
I am reminded why I love these people so damn much.

Can I just say how strange and surreal it is to be walking to the shop at night and have a fox pass you going the other way?
