Disclaimer: if only they were mine… *sigh*

Have you ever had the feeling you’re being watched?
As if someone was right behind you but when you turn around to look , no one was there?

Normally, people have this feeling for a moment. But that wasn’t the case for Junsu.
Junsu is a college student , trying his best at school. He was a normal guy who liked a good laugh and made friends fairly easily. His grades weren’t perfect, but good enough for him not to get kicked out. He just had one problem. The feeling of being watched. His friends said he was paranoia, of course he didn’t believe them.

It strangely started in a dream. In that dream a few months ago, Junsu was sitting on the bus going to school. As the bus turned the corner and passed the church he saw him. On top of the church, way on top. Not where the gargoyles are but further stood a man. He had short black hair, wore a suit and was staring directly at Junsu from above. Junsu looked around , wondering if anyone else had seen the man but when he turned back the man was gone. Vanished. He woke up with a strange feeling.

Since them, Junsu had the feeling he was being watched by this mysterious man. When he was walking from school towards the bus stop, he would see him on the other side of the street. When he was out with his friends playing in the arcade room , he would see him in the corner of his eyes. Or even when he was sitting in class and looking outside of the window, he would see him below on the field. But whenever he asked someone to look, they just looked at him weirdly and he knew the man was gone.

For five months, Junsu had this feeling. And it was driving him mad. His parents had called the doctor for help  and he was diagnosed with paranoia. Luckily, it wasn’t in the stage to get him hospitalized (as they would call it) so he could go on going to school. Still, Junsu didn’t believe them. He knew what he saw!

It was Monday morning and Junsu hadn’t slept again. His eyes were blood red and puffy as if he had been crying. It seemed like, whoever this man was, he kept coming more often in his dreams and even as he was awake, he had the feeling those dark brown eyes were staring right in to his soul. He shivered at the thought before slamming his fist on the alarm clock and got ready for school.

School wasn’t so bad, at least not for Junsu. It was a way to get his mind off of things. Whatever the subject was, Junsu was concentrating the best he could in order to get that man out of his mind.

At lunch time, Junsu was sitting alone behind his desk. His friends weren’t In his class and his own classmates thought he was weird. He sighed deeply while biting on his sandwich and took a sip from his apple juice he had bought earlier in the cafeteria.

He was silent as he observed the other students , talking, laughing, eating or going through their homework. “Class, can I have your attention please?” Mrs. Kwon said as she clapped her hands. Junsu listened immediately and turned his attention towards the front. However , the other students didn’t seem to have heard it. “Class! Pay attention, Mrs Kwon is about to say something!” Shim Changmin, class president. He had a sharp and witty tongue. Was very excellent in his grades and people seem to listen to him. Especially when he used his authority voice.

The students fell silent as they all turned their heads. “Thank you, Mr. Shim” she smiled and Changmin nodded. “Now, as you all know, I’m kind of pregnant” she joked as she stepped away from her desk and her large belly could be seen. A couple of students snickered. “So,” she took a deep breath. Obviously, she had a hard time telling the next. “I am going on  maternity leave starting tomorrow.”

There was a uproar. Students were shocked to hear this, some were happy not because she was leaving but because the baby would be born soon. Mrs. Kwon is one of those teachers you just had to like, no matter who you were. She could teach her subject (English) very well, was a good listener but also a good detention giver for those who had earned it. Even Junsu liked her but he didn’t get why his classmates were so shocked. It had to happen one of these days.

“Therefore” she called over the talking and the students went quiet. “Therefore, the school has hired a new teacher for this class.” She smiled at them before looking towards the door. “Mr. Park can you please come in?”

The students were on their toes as a man in a black suit opened up the door. He had short black hair, thin figure and deep brown eyes that were under a pair of glasses. Some of the girls at the back were giggling like crazy at how handsome their new teacher was. A few guys were seizing him up as though they could guess what kind of teacher he would be like.

There was a sudden splash on the floor when Junsu’s cup of apple juice fell of the table. Everyone looked at him but he ignored them all. He only had eyes for the new teacher and when their eyes met he swore he saw a hint of redness in them. “Are you okay, Mr.Kim?” Mrs. Kwon asked worriedly. Junsu nodded his head and gulped.

“Okay then, so starting tomorrow, Mr. Park will be your new teacher” Mrs. Kwon said cheerfully. “Would you like to stay for class and see how things go?” Yoochun nodded his head silently before walking off towards the back of the class. Sitting right behind Junsu.

Junsu couldn’t believe it. This had to be a dream, it just had to be. Because that man sitting behind him couldn’t possibly be the man he had dreamed about, had thought to had seen on the church and had seemed to follow him every were and then vanish. It just couldn’t be!
