Hi, this is Izzie!

First, the german is "Kafe Und Kuchen" -- I'm so amazed that you and I both have German mothers, but you missed out on so much of the German!

Second, Bill and Ramona are married by common law. I don't think they ever got officially married. But they've lived together so long and bought a house together, so that makes them legally married by common law.

Yeah, Mom thought it would confuse us too much to teach us German when we were younger. Phooey. Greg and I have berated her several times for failing in that department.

It's so weird to me that people do that. Why not just make it official? Oh well.
