I don't know how hard it is, though, so I can't say how long it will take...
Is it like VCE/HSC?
Most people I know (including myself) did one or two year 12 subject(s) in year 11, just so that they wouldn't have six in year 12. I did Theatre Studies in Year 11 and did quite well. Can you do anything like that; doing one subject a year earlier? It gives you more time to focus on it before leaping into the stress of the whole thing.
