Doll, if you fancy moving to Boca Raton FL, my dad has a sweet 3 bedroom house he cannot seem to get sold.

As much as I love FL (although I've only been to South Beach...), I don't think that's an option! LOL

Plus, we need a 4-5 bedroom house, at least 3,000 sq ft.

The houses the are building today are crap..at least around here they are. What happened to good , sturdy, HOUSES?

Good luck in your hunt. There are lots of things out there with people who are desperate so there are many on the market. All of those short sales are tragic, truly. Who knows, maybe one of those might be the one, its just a lot of time to invest if it doesnt close.

The problem is, we don't have time to wait on a short sale. We need to find a house that's ready to go now.

Don't know if you've read any of my ramblings about Jeff's mom coming to live with us and all that jazz.

But we're kinda up against the wall.

There are tons of great houses are out there. But none of those are a sure thing. And we don't have months to wait.

Good luck. I have to agree about the new houses in here too. Mainly flats, they are so small!
