Genetic vs. Adoption

Expense doesn't really factor into it because sometimes adoption is less expensive than trying to give birth. It all depends on how you go about it and how fertile both of you are. I think adoption is wonderful and that there should be more people out there willing to adopt and foster children.

I think I do want to adopt a child, but whether I also get a birth child as well I guess depends. And there should be more people willing to adopt.

Actually, I've thought about whether or not I want to adopt or have my own as well. Giving birth seems icky and gross, but at the same time, then they are your descendents, and will therefore mostly likely be like you and Jesse. The ickyness of giving birth can be easily evaded, C-section all the way baby! That's the way my kids are coming out <3

I second the C-section notion....

Though like someone said, with all the orphans out there, the overpopulation, and lack of good foster parents, it would be great to adopt a child as well.

That being said, I don't understand the families that have a bunch of children they simply can't support, and CONTINUE to make more? @_@

Birth is icky. Stupid men, stupid biology. I AM NOT PUSHING A WATERMELONSIZED THING THROUGH DOWN THERE. T_T /cringe
