I can't believe I leave to go back to camp tomorrow (well, technically tomorrow)... it doesn't feel like a year has come and gone... I'm actually sooooooooooooooooooooo upset to leave... anyone that means anything to me is going to be home for the summer... I hope I'm in a good unit, I hope I have good co's, I hope I have good campers, I hope camp ( Read more... )

if i can tell you something, its this: if you go in with that perspective on camp, its going to BLOW trust me. counting down the days just makes it feel like longer, and always being on the phone makes it worse. if you try to have fun and chill with your friends, time passes much quicker!! enjoy the weather, enjoy the lake, enjoy being young and being able to spend your summer doing practically nothing in the middle of nowhere and before you know it, it'll be time to go home - make the most of it TRUST ME

i've always had that attitude, but.. i have been going to camp quite a long time... a few of my gooood friends from camp realized that last summer was going to be their last and they ended on a good note... I don't want this year to end on a bad note but the fear of having everything HERE and not all that much there, scares me...

also.. i mean, im not gonna lie... going from seeing nick all the time to NOT seeing him for two solids months because of conflicting schedules/distance, KILLLLLLS ME.....

nevertheless, thanks for the advice that i should be taking... and have an AMAZING time @ camp as well.. and make sure to write!

Dont worry too much about the distance thing from Nick.
2 Months really isnt that long. It's do able, although i kno ull miss him greatly. It's a good strain, cuz when u do see him again its all the more special!.
Im going back to camp this summer too!

if u and mikey are able to do it long distance all the time, i guess what i have isnt too bad... i know that a lot of ppl would kill to see their boyfriend/girlfriend as much as we see eachother
