Yoochun's cake

Apr 16, 2009 22:10

Junsu stares at the huge box that was just delivered 5 minutes ago.  “You know guys…when I told you about surprising Yoochun with a cake as big as our house.” Yunho heaves the huge package on the marble counter.  “I was just kidding.”

“Yeah well I thought it was a pretty good idea.”  Jaejoong states, taking a cleaver to rip the top of the box open.  Yunho replaces that with a pair of safety scissors.

“I was drunk.”

“We were all drunk.”

“And I will never drink again.”  Changmin swaggers into the kitchen after passing out on the couch, clutching his head.  “Not with you guys.  Ever.”

Jaejoong pulls the top of the box off with a grunt.  “Stop whining and help me lift this out of the box.”  Changmin groans and dies on the counter with his head cradled under his arms and Yunho snickers and takes over for him.

They both lift the huge cake out on the count of three and Junsu backs away slowly when it looms over him by a couple of inches.

“Oh yeah, Yoochun will definitely not see this when he comes home.”  Changmin snorts, while trying to reach for the bottle of aspirin on the other side of the counter.

“Where did you even find a cake this big anyway?” Junsu circles the cake from a reasonable distance, afraid that it might jump and eat him.

Jaejoong brushes off his hands after placing in on the kitchen counter.  “I know people.”

“You make it sound like you smuggled this illegally and not from the corner store.”  Min groans when Jaejoong takes the bottle and places it far away from his reach.

“Where are you going to put this where Yoochun can’t see it?  I know he’s as blind as a bat, but even he can’t miss this.”  Junsu states, slapping at Min’s grabby hands towards the bottle of aspirin.

“Junsu has a point.  Couldn’t you have baked Yoochun a cake, like you do every year?” Yunho casually drops his head unto Jae’s broad shoulders and tilts his head in question when Jae smirks.

“You guys really underestimate me.  By the end of this day, Yoochun will deem this the best damn birthday he’s ever had.” Jaejoong smirks even wider, his eyes brightening considerably making Yunho gulp at the determination of his lover.

“Even the time we forced Junsu to wear that school girl uniform?”  Min peaks up, headache gone and intrigued.

“Yes even the time Junsu wore that school girl uniform.”

“Can we seriously not repeat that again?”  Junsu groans and slams his head against the table, hoping it’ll be hard enough to pass out.

“Where is that perverted old man anyway?”  Changmin remembers, scanning the living room of the said man.

“I sent him out to buy some groceries for the house, since we’re running low on food-again.”  Jaejoong says, throwing sharp glances at the youngest, who is innocently nipping on a banana.

“You sent Yoochun?” Yunho glances, eyebrows arched.  “He’s the worst at buying food.”

Jaejoong shrugs.  “I needed him out of the house and he already looked like a hobo, so it all fits.”

“That really doesn’t solve what we’re going to do with the cake.”  Junsu peaks from around the cake to Jaejoong.

“I told you.”  Jaejoong stands and smiles, teeth and fangs showing and all and they all wince.  “Leave everything to me.”  Junsu sweat drops when Jaejoong leaves the kitchen with the huge cake in tow, and turns to Yunho.  “I’m just a little scared.”  Yunho pets his head reassuringly.

“When Jaejoong sets his mind on things, he does it well so we shouldn’t worry.”  Yunho says as firmly as possible to stop his dongsaeng from worrying.

“I don’t know, Jaejoong isn’t the brightest bulb and I wouldn’t be surprised to find the cake inside my closet.”  Changmin says, throwing the banana peal in the garbage disposal and rummages around the cabinet for food.  Junsu and Yunho are silent and Min closes the cabinet door slowly.

“He wouldn’t.”   Yunho shakes his head rapidly and Junsu is all of the suddenly interested in the black spot on the counter.  Min runs to his room and slams the door open and feels his mouth hit the floor.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”  Jaejoong glances up from the closet.  “Oh hey there Min.”

“Are you putting that cake in my closet?!”

“Don’t worry; I put a lot of ice in there so it won’t melt.” Min has to be held back by both Yunho and Junsu from trying to “one-touch” Jaejoong hard enough to knock him into next century.

“Hey, I’m home!  Where are you guys?”  They all freeze at hearing the baritone’s voice, and Jaejoong quickly pushes the closet close while they all scramble to get out.  “Get out, get out!” Jae whispers quickly and shoves everyone out the door before Yoochun turns the corner.

“Hey, what are you guys doing?”  Yoochun walks in, wiping an apple on his white polo shirt.

“Eh erm, nothing.  Nothing at all.”  Junsu says in haste and forces a smile on his face.

“Yeah, we’re just, uh going to the bathroom.”  Yunho yelps when Jaejoong pinches his arm with a twist at the lame reason.

Yoochun quirks an eyebrow and takes a bite of his apple.  “At…the same time?”

“We drank a lot of water and that alcohol from last night.”  Changmin chuckles nervously and rubs the back of his neck.

“Uhuh…” he says skeptically.  “What are you guys hiding over there?”

“No-nothing why would you think that?”  Changmin leans to the left when Yoochun tries to peak over his shoulders.

“Um hey did you get the food I wanted you to?”  Jaejoong jumps in front of Yoochun.  “Yeah…it’s all in the kitchen.”  Yoochun says distantly, still trying to look over their heads.

“Great, come in the kitchen and help me cook.”  Jaejoong pulls Yoochun away with an arm around his neck and he momentarily forgets about his suspicion.

“What?!  You’re making me cook on my own special day?”  Yoochun pouts, his eyes glistening from years of practice.  Jaejoong scoffs and the semi-armlock around his neck tightens.  “I’ve seen enough of that from you and Changmin to last me.” And the three others behind them can see Yoochun slumping, his feet dragging the floor for the dramatic effect of defeat.

He’s preoccupied most of the times, with Jaejoong giving him bits and things to cut, but not enough to know what he’s making.  That’s always a surprise every year and he finds that his favorite food to eat is mostly Jaejoong’s cooking, but he doesn’t tell his mother that.

It’s only 10 minutes into the prepping before Jae shoos him out, in case he ended up burning the whole dinner and Jae would kick him out.

Jaejoong waves the three over when Yoochun walks into the music room, “Watch the door, he’s a sneaky one.”  He whispers and the three nods their head, Changmin sulking.

They rotate in turns standing watch in front of the music room and Changmin’s room.  Most of the time, Yoochun’s inside composing a new song, playing with a few tunes and when he does come out it’s only the go to the kitchen for a refreshment, but the bathroom leads past Changmin’s room.

Yoochun peaks his head slowly from the white door and sees no one, before slipping out, his back pressed against one.  His front is watching Jaejoong’s back and Yunho watching T.V. from the living room and he almost does a victory dance when he turns the corner.

“Yoochun, what are you doing?”

“Hi!”  Yoochun jumps and turns with a quick wave at the youngest.  “Just…heading to the bathroom.” Yoochun does random motions of directional fingers at the bathroom and Min arches his eyebrows with a smirk.  “Right…too much water?”

“Yeah,” Yoochun coughs.  “Too much water.”  Changmin continues watching Yoochun until he’s at the bathroom before moving away.  I don’t know what Jaejoong was warning us about.  Piece of cake.

Yoochun is no ninja, but damn is he persistent and when Jaejoong finally signals everyone for dinner, the three breathes a sigh of relief and trudges over to the dinner table.

Jaejoong is practically grinning when he sees the dreary look of the three, I told you so.  Yoochun takes his seat and they all begin to chow down, Jaejoong happily receiving compliments and giving Changmin seconds upon seconds.

“A little bit of wine.”  Yunho grins, leaning over the side table to present the bottle of wine before uncorking it with a pop.  With equal pouring, they all lift their cups.

“To Yoochun, for health and prosperity.”  Yunho says with a smile that is reflected by them all.

“To DBSK, may we last for a million birthdays.” Changmin snorts.  “To us.”  They clink their glasses and continue eating with idle chattering here and there before Jaejoong clears his throat.

“Yunho, Junsu, can you help me clear the table?”  Yunho and Junsu exchange glances from across the table before following Jae out the dining room.

Jaejoong opens the door into Min’s room and shoves Junsu in there.  “Hey!”

“Take off your clothes.”

Junsu didn’t quite catch that.  “Um what?”

“Take off your clothes.”  Jaejoong repeats, pulling the cake out by the handle of a red wagon.

Yunho coughs lightly against his hand, “Uh honey, don’t you think it’s a little inappropriate right now?”  Jaejoong pays no heed and strips Junsu off his baby blue Tee and cargo shorts, leaving him in his white briefs.

“Well, I didn’t think Yoochun was telling the truth…,”  Jaejoong mumbles and Junsu blushes trying to conceal his precious.

“What the hell are you doing?!”  Junsu fights to get his clothes back on, but Yunho already has his clothes in his arms, with an apologetic smile on his face.

Jaejoong brushes his fingers around the underside of the cake before he finds it and twists the top off and Junsu is left staring, until it all clicks.  “Hell no, hell no am I doing it.”

“Come on Junsu, you’ll make Yoochun one happy man.” Jaejoong waves a red ribbon in Junsu’s face.

Junsu twats it away from his face in a scoff, “Yeah right, but I won’t be.”

“Come on…Junsu.”

“Nope I ain’t doing it.”  Junsu turns defiantly, his arms crossed across his bare chest.

Jaejoong sighs, “I didn’t want to do this.  Yunho…,”  And Junsu is being hauled by the underarm and Jaejoong is holding his legs and there’s no fucking escape.

Yunho stifles a laugh behind his hands when Junsu is crouching deep in the half-hollow cake, Jaejoong tying a ribbon around his neck.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this…”Junsu groans and sinks even further.

“You’re just lucky I didn’t make you go buck-naked and the ribbon around your other head.”  Jaejoong says, and Junsu nearly faints from all this.

“But why me?  Why not you or Changmin?”  Junsu whines.

“Because Yoochun specifically stated it in his diary, now get the fuck in and shut up.”  Jaejoong shoves Junsu’s head a little lower before Yunho places the top layer of the cake back.

Changmin and Yoochun are chattering, before the light shuts off and they hear singing coming through the dining room.  Yoochun stands up in shock as Jaejoong and Yunho wheels in the humungous cake and Changmin joins them in the singing.

“Happy Birthday dear Yoochun,  Happy birthday to you~.”  Yoochun is almost, almost in tears and Changmin shakes his head a little before patting his back.  “Make a wish.”

“Where’s Junsu?” Yoochun looks around.

“He’ll be here, don’t worry.”  Jaejoong smirks.

Yoochun smiles and closes his eyes for a few seconds, hands clasped together.  Yoochun blows lightly on the candles, but it sparks back up again.  “Oh okay I see how it is.”  And Yoochun continues blowing and blowing, face turning slightly blue.

Jaejoong chuckles nervously and ducks behind the cake.  “Come out of the cake!” and he hears a muffled “No!” in return.  “Come out of the cake before I tell Changmin to beat all your high scores!”

And the cake pops open with complimented confetti’s and sparkling ribbons and all of them are equally surprised at it all.  Yoochun is blue in the face and stares in shock at the nearly naked Junsu coming out of his cake.

Junsu blushes lightly.  “Surprise?”

Yoochun is silent and he leans over, fingering the tag hanging on the bright shiny ribbon around Junsu’s neck.  “A gift to you.  Enjoy.”  A simple message, and they’re all waiting to see Yoochun’s reaction.

Junsu squeaks loudly when Yoochun practically lifts him out of the cake on his shoulders and sprints to his room with a slam and lock.

The three shares glances before high fiving each other.  “Mission making Yoochun happy: success.”

“What are we going to do about the cake?”  Yunho and Changmin look up at the same time and smirks.

“It’ll be a waste to just leave it here.”  Jaejoong smirks and wheels the cake to his room and they both follow eagerly.

Yoochun throws the squealing man unto the man and climbs over him, letting his lips roam all over the tan bare body, all for him.  He’s latching unto his lips, sucking and nipping until Junsu can’t help but moan.  They pull away from each other, breath frantic and rushing and Yoochun pulls the ribbon lightly off his neck.

“How did you know?”

“Jaejoong?”  Junsu whispers against the hot lips.

“I’ll take it.” Junsu pulls the man closer to his body and whispers. “Happy Birthday.” And Yoochun replies with a slow kiss.

Best birthday ever?

I think so…
