... and a shy hello to the old ones that maybe thinks I have forgotten them (not true, please believe me!)
Real life in the last couple of years was/is still bad. So I rarely have the time to post something.
I still love to make icons but I have Linux now on my computer and I don't know how to use Gimp so I make them only sometimes when I can work elsewhere with Photoshop and when I write fanfictions it's in Italian so probably not interesting for most of you.
But Livejournal is the best place to find fellow fans of every fandom. Three years and half ago, when I registered here, I was in love with NCIS (some times it's still true) and i was so lucky to find a few very nice people and comm where I am free to talk about everything I like and sometimes even all I hate about my favorite show. Even if I need time to write a post because my English is not so good.
The long list of the shows, characters, relationships, actors I like it's on my profile (but I need to update it) and at the moment Benedict Cumberbatch and Sherlock BBC are my absolute favorite but I really love everything about Holmes: ACD Canon, Granada Series, Rathbone films, Russian Series, Richie films,etc... even the 2010 film with Gareth David-Lloyd as Watson amuse me.
I'm not a snob and I really don't understand the asexual/gay/het problem. There is something to like in every Holmes rendition and I love to read fanfictions about most of them. The only thing I don't like so much is the tendency of some authors to make all characters of one story gay or het or something else. Love/life/sex is so various in the real world and I know that fanfiction is our personal box but I can't read a story where all relationship is the duplicate of the other, sorry.
I'd like to have more time because I'd love to follow more than Sherlock and sometimes NCIS or Doctor Who (but I don't really like Eleven and his companions so it's not a big trouble at the moment) and Torchwood for me is dead with Ianto Jones in COE... Maybe in some months, after the exams for my driving license (I know, I'm somewhat old but I didn't need it since now)
So I hope we will see here soon. Take care,
Robin
