Ooooooooh, I just read about John Barrowman's new album getting released on February 22nd. But that's not the only amazing news.. Apparently he recorded a special version of one of my favourite songs "The Wizard and I" (from the musical Wicked). It's called "The Doctor and I" and is about Captain Jack's relationship with Doctor Who!!!! *SQUEEEE* ( Read more... )

From what I remember it's a great song ;) Well the original one. Too bad it's not on the CD but as long as you can get hold of it :)

Jep, it truly is. One of my absolute favourites (well, John's other version where he already changed some of the lyrics).
But I just discovered John sang the "Doctor and I" version before at his concerts. Don't know how I missed this till today. O.o

Well suppose some things we here and see and in some way it's familiar to us but it rather takes a backseat ;)

Nah, I haven't seen the musical. :( So far I've only known this version from John.

Me neither. Have you heard John's other version of the song? I absolutely love it.
And it looks like this is the version he recorded for the new CD.

Ich habe den besagten Song zwar gerade nicht im Ohr, aber ich glaube, er hat ihn auf seiner ersten Tournee gesungen. :-)

Ja, das hab ich jetzt auch rausgefunden. Hatte die Version des Lieds vorher echt noch nicht gehört. Aber es klingt auf jeden Fall super. Ich freu mich schon total auf die CD!
