Tonight I went out with my oldest sister, Lottie, (she spontaneously decided to come home for the day from Riverside) to eat dinner. It was fun, she had her friends, and my older sister Hannah came as well. We talked and made jokes etc. etc ( Read more... )

Poor Andrew ... but don't worry, I've felt that way a lot lately (turning into a window and all) and I feel the same way about the book and listening things. Our generation doesn't read enough and that will totally hurt us in the long run ... when will they learn ...

Anyway, so, um, yeah, like I was say ... ooh, shiny!!! Just kidding. I think that you need to give people a little bit of a break on the whole short attention span thing. I mean, sure, sometimes when you are really trying to get things done, yeah, having a short attention span sucks. But everyone has those days when all you want to do is stare out into space and hopefully (fingers crossed), we will grow out of that habit and need.

Over all message to the "annoying little smart kid": I feel your pain. Just keep your hope up ('cause that's what I'm doing).

How amazing it is to have such an intelligent and introspective little brother.

I'm glad you came with us to dinner, we enjoyed your company, but I'm not sure if you enjoyed ours :(

I would like to apologize if we made you feel out of place. Age is irrelevant to kids as intelligent as you Andrew... I think it's about time you knew that, if you didn't already.

So next time don't feel like have to pipe down... speak up and enjoy yourself.
