When the kids walk in the door each day, they verbally wrestle each other over the opportunity to be the one that gets my attention for some story du jour. I'm still feeling stupid over naming the polar bear "Pandy." It was years before I realized the damned thing wasn't a panda bear. Probably a good thing I didn't become a vet.

E should write a sequel. I'm hooked already.

I don't think so, no. She loves to write about AND eat ham. :)

She informed me later that it was inspired by her "table neighbor" at school who has a ham eraser. He also has a cheese and bun eraser and she considered adding them to future adventures. Bet you a nickle that the bun gets named "bunny."
