ednemo  and I have returned from Graceland!  We had a LOT of fun and got some much needed relaxation...

Day 1 - Woke up Saturday morning, showered, dressed, loaded car, got breakfast, got on the road...First stop, Mini-Graceland in Roanoke...Well, we would have if it were still there.  We couldn't find it.  We did see the giant star though...

I guess he's still dead...We didn't see anyone that looked like him...No Elvis impersonators, nothing.

oh the guy who made minni graceland was dead... and a preservation society was taking care of it the widdow wants to tear it down its still there but looks like shit. but yet its still humorous when the locals drive by and scream ELVIS SUCKS when your trying to take pictures for class prodjects.

I couldn't even find it. I heard it looked bad, but still wanted to see it b/c it was on the way.

AWWW You missed mini-Graceland. Perhaps the only thing worth seeing in Roanoke (unless you count the two story-tall Santa that's like a block away). I got to see mini-Graceland during Christmas, when it had reindeer. Elvis and Reindeer.

... and you did get to see the star. So now you know why Dave has obsessed over it for so long (no, I don't get it either)

We probably wouldn't have gone if we didn't miss the turn for Mini-Graceland. We were pretty much like, "Yup, that's a big star."
